Mount Totumas

Nested within the 140 hectare preserve of the Mount Totumas Cloud Forest, our coffee grows at 1900m above sea level, boasting crops of Typica, Catuai, Caturra, Pacamara, and our beloved Geisha varietals. Originally cow pastures purchased in 2008, we reforested a total of 30 hectares to conserve the natural habitat, which also includes our coffee groves. The six hectares of our coffee farm benefit from the natural ecosystem of this pristine Panamanian cloud forest: pollinators during flowering, nitrogen-fixing native trees, and wildlife providing fertilizer throughout the canopy. This ecologically-oriented approach is the underlying philosophy behind every aspect of our operation—from each seed to flowering tree, and every bean to your delicious cup.
